Lake Onaping
Lake Onaping is well known for being one of Northern Ontario’s best fisheries. We have fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout. There are streams and lakes within an hour’s drive of base camp with good Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) fishing. Lake Onaping is also in the MNR stocking program with more than 500,000 Walleye and Lake Trout released each year. Our guests experince good sizes and good numbers. You don’t have to drive 20 hours north to find great fishing.
